My nearly 2yr old DD hates wearing clothes and while i wasn't particulary fussed over summer if she wandered around the house in just a nappy we are now heading into winter. I know it is something that most kids go through but looking for suggestions to keep the clothes on. She can be fully dressed, i go to the toilet and by the time i come out she will be completely nude . I can dress and redress her up to a dozen times a day and to be honest some days i just give up because it just doesn't seem worth the battle (tantrums and screaming always accompany the getting dressed part).
I have tried letting her choose her clothes, getting 'dressed' like mummy but am getting nowhere. Oh and she is just as happy to strip off even if not at home
My dd3 is exactly the same - I put a suit on her that buttons under her crotch and she can't undo it. She still gets changed a thousand times a day - but we have to do it so she keeps her nappy on!
My other kids have all been nudists, I just sort of let it go - they'll get dressed when they're cold I figure.
With going out to other places, I just try to keep them busy so they don't strip off LOL
My ds is like this he just prefers to be nude, he figured out buttons and zips at 18 months and is only slowly outgrowing the phase now at 2.5 we let him be nude at home but not if there are people over and when we are out he generally keeps his clothes on.
