    Oh what a night...NOT!!!

    Hi All,
Feeling a bit alone & very lost in a terrible night. My nearly 7 month old has a cold is teething had a temp yesterday & generally feeling unwell & miserable. Last night she woke at 2.30am & pretty much didn't go back to sleep. My very helpful husband wasn't around has taken our 4 yr old camping & my mum's away. Why does it always happen when you're by yourself??? Wouldn't have been so bad if i could've shared the load with someone.
Well she seems happier this morning so will cross my fingers that she sleeps today
Hugs to all the parents out there feeling like me this morning.
    Xxx

Thanks everyone had a snooze & she's having a good sleep now. It's so hard to see them unwell & in the middle of the night when you're by yourself everything feels so bad. Good to know we can both survive it.
Really so nice to get some feedback. Thanks again

    Oh what a night...NOT!!!

More hugs. I had a similar night with DD2 (16mths) but at the opposite end of the night. My DH has been away for a week with work and both DD's have had colds - typical! Last night I went to bed at 10.30 and DD2 woke at 11 and finally settled at 2.30am. YAWN! DD1 had a great night thankfully but came in soaking wet at 7am - up and at em Mummy! Sigh.
