3D ultrasound Brisbane ??

Hi
I had 3D 20 week scans with my two older girls so I feel I'd like to do same for this bub.
I'm finding it hard to find somewhere that does diagnostic ones (morphology scan) rather than 3D scan for sake of seeing baby.
Redcliffe advertises online they do it but they are waiting for a new machine.

I would prefer north side brissy or city.

Any ideas?

I may have found somewhere at south bank but there must be more out there?

I went to the south bank one. I think they needed a referral but gp was happy to put 3rd trimester health and well being scan. They actually found a small hole in the heart at that scan that the other routine scans didn't find.

I went to the place at southbank for my morphology scan with DD2, they were good. Got a disc with the entire scan lol. As well as photos and such.

Referral is no worries. Were they expensive?
If they are good then maybe I'll ring them.
Did you get your parking validated?

Is bub's heart ok?

Yep bubs heart was fine it eventually closed up by itself around 2 years old. She's almost 7 now. :-). Yep parking was validated and I can't remember the price but I think I claimed some back on Medicare cause it was a gp referred thing. It was a really good experience all in all.

I rang and its $340 and some back from Medicare.
And got them to tell me other places and cheapest I've found is $325
Which is hard when we are trying to save up pregnancy management fee.

I went through Savage X-Ray in the Valley. They have on site parking and the scan is bulk billed. I had both my kids morphology scans there

I know you got in, but I'm just chiming in for the sake of the thread to say I went to SOGI at Southbank for all 3 of my babies and got wonderful 3D images. The service/scanning is brilliant. Not exactly cheap but parking was minimal ($5 I think) thanks to a pre-paid voucher from SOGI.

I seriously can't afford the $300+ up front cost right now
So was starting to consider getting cheap normal scan and then cheap 3D photo from one of the pretty picture of baby places not medical places.
I rang hubby and said I had good news and he asked if I had found somewhere in New Farm, he was amazed that it is in his street AND will cost nothing
So gi looked fantastic but was still $40 more than other places that also have good reputation.

Pity it comes down to cost but that's my life right now.

What's the name if the new farm place?

I didn't find a newfarm place I am going to Savage X-ray Doggett St Fortitude Valley. They book out about a month in advance for the 20 week scan. I got in 2 days before I'm 21 weeks (had to be some by 21)
Bulk billing for me in private insurance world is almost unheard of so I am super happy.
Hubby super pleased its walking distance from his work.
