    Hi all
Dr said my HCG results in normal range- 2062 at 5wks 2ds. Don't really know what normal is as I haven't had HCG tested in my other pregnancies. Anyone know more? I'll do it again in a week to see progress.
Duchess, hope all's OK and you can put your gymnastics run in behind you - try not to let it get you worked up.
Well I have to fly interstate for the weekend for a bit of a family gathering. Problem in early pregnancy is always the raised eyebrows if you turn down the obligatory champagne given at such events... and I'm certainly known as one who always partakes in the wine when it's on offer! Hopefully no-one will notice if I sit on one glass all afternoon and evening...
Be in touch when I return.

Desailly- My hcg is always low (DS2 was 56 at about 5-6weeks) so that is awesome

Sorry girls, I'm on my phone so can't check the others at the same time to remind me who posted what

AFM- What a day. One of those where nothing stays down so I'm starving. Almost had success with dinner, till I was a couple mouthfuls away from finishing...then I had a full bowl again I was not happy at all. Bub seems to like icecream (which gives me tummy aches) but anything healthy, nope...and especially not meat! Tomorrow can only get better right? At least the "morning" sickness isn't this bad all the time anymore

See this thread for normal hcg ranges
    https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...regnancy-1300/

It's a huge range but your result is awesome

I'm hoping things can be put out of my mind as I do my best to avoid the chick I have to avoid, it was worse because it was pcyc so having to deal with constable made it more stressful.
Count down to ob appointment (7 sleeps lol)

desailly - great HCG numbers - mine were 1500 this pregnancy and am 19 weeks today!!!

Greenslw - my hubby is Aussie, yes, so at least have his mum, dad and step mum, sister in law and brother around here, and an extended family of aunties, uncles and cousins Even his grandpa, who's hoping for a little boy, so the family name doesn't die... I think he's going to be a little disappointed, possibly. Glad you enjoyed the adult time! New hair, yay! What are you going to do, just a haircut? Or also some dye? And yay for job being advertised! No pcos here, was on metformin for a while though (i think they normally prescribe that to pcos girls?), didn't gain any weight when I was on that, now I've gained about 5 kilos since I stopped the metformin at 12 weeks. :$

Damprye - Sorry to hear you still vomiting That sucks big time. Ice cream! Yummy! I'm trying to cut down on ice cream, and now found some really nice Lindt chocolate hot chocolate drink, am allowing myself 1 a night.

AFM finally weekend and no work today, tomorrow and monday. Here's hoping for a relaxed weekend. The thing that sucks is that our washing machine broke down 2 weeks ago and have been having to go to DH's mum for the washing :$ Can't do any chores in between washes :$ I think I felt bub kick on Thursday night, I could even feel it on the outside if I gently put my hand on my belly! It was so exciting. All's been quiet since though :$ 4 nights to go before morph scan! Can't wait

Should I go to the hospital... I have been vomitting since 430.... And with this back ache. But I seem to have a knot .... I'm
It's not all over my back just up one side. I have no stomach pain. I thought I felt baby moving. I feel so terrible tho. I don't know whether to be worried or not. Coz I just can't move

I would call up & see what they say.
If you can't keep water down they might want you to go in.

trying not to be paranoid but i have had a few good days, not all that tired or queasy. I know dh would not understand but I can't help but wonder if the little platypus is ok. At least I have a scan this Friday (NT scan) so fx all is well and the worst is past (not that it was terrible). I finally made my first banana smoothie today, was a bit sceptical. I bought some yoghurt drink the other day and used that with some maple syrup and 1 banana then added some crushed ice once it was blended. I may have to have another one later

Green, glad to hear you are enjoying the benefits of pregnancy with good hair LOL

Mel, hope all is ok sweetie xx

Me4, bring on the scans huh

hope everyone is keeping well x

Kbudgie: I know it's a concern but its normal for symptoms to ease at this point, I'm sure everything is fine with platypus (that is such a cute name)

Melster: I hope the vomiting eases for you

Greenslw: sounds like you have had a nice time getting a bit pampered

Afm: some stressful news following my scan, they are a bit concerned about something so I'm going for a scan with a specialist Tuesday to try & see what they think. After everything I have been through I could do without the extra stress. Also I now have a UTI so that's just great, on antibiotics so I hope they help soon
