What clothes size did your newborn start off with?

Just a fun poll! What size clothes did your baby fit into when newborn?

My first two were 0000 and my third (new partner) was 000.

DD was 9 pound 4.5 ounces when she was born. The middies kept saying how big she was, so DH got out a 000 suit for her to wear. It was way too big! She wore 0000 clothes for about four weeks. She grew quickly and was straight into 000 from there, but thankfully she stayed in them for a while and the growing slowed down!

Out of interest, would you prefer a poll response based on first bub, or most recent bub (if it's not your first)?

DS1 was wearing 0000 but DS2 and DS3 were straight into 000. In fact DS3 whipped through the sizes so quickly it wasn't funny - he's been in size 1 for the past couple of months and looks like staying there for a while

All three in 0000s but soon grew out of any with feet in them due to length. Width wise all three lasted in 0000s without feet for a good three months

DD was pretty much average, smaller in terms of weight but on schedule in height and 0000 swam on her at first! In all of her early weeks photos she's swimming in her clothes. I find there's a massive difference between some brands.

DD1 was 00000 for about 5 weeks. She was born at 38+5 (spontaneous) and 2962g but just tiny and grew very slowly!

DD2 wore a couple of 00000 in the first week but was mainly 0000. She was born at 38+4 (also spontaneous) and 3398g.

DD1 (40w 4d) was in 0000s from birth until maybe 5 months....it would have been around that time, she was a winter baby and I remember when it got warm at the start of summer I put her in 000s because that was the only summer clothes I had but they swam on her still.

DD2 (40w) was in 00000 and premmie clothes for 3-4 months.

    I just create little babies

I said 000 though I did put both of them in 0000s from birth. They both lasted about a week before I had to give it up! They were 4.3kg and 4.7kg.

Dd1 was in 0000 for about a week then 000. She was 40 +6 and 8lbs 10oz. Dd2 was in 0000 but realistically should have been in 00000 from birth for about three weeks (7lbs 10oz at 38 + 4) except I only had about two 00000 outfits and expected her to grow as quick as her sister....at 5.5 months we are still in 000.

000 for a week or so maybe and then 00 for our first, at over 5kg born it wasn't surprising really.

Dd was in 00000 from birth (39w3d spontaneous labour) and stayed in them for a couple weeks, I think she grew out of them by about 2-3 weeks? Then stayed in 0000 for about a month or so.
She was 7lb 3oz or 3.24kg at birth

First was 9lbs and straight into 000.
Second was 6lb 12 (I think) and wore 00000 and then was in 0000 for ages.

DS was born 3614g at 37+3 and was in 0000 for a few weeks. He always grew out of the feet well before the body or length of the suits were too small.

What clothes size did your newborn start off with?

DD born at 40+5 7lb 1oz (3.2kgs) we took 00000 and 0000 to hospital and she only fit in the 0000 bonds wonder suits. Everything else is swimming on her - 3 weeks later!
    Just depends on brand.

    DD1 was 2.9kg and in 00000.
DD2 was 3.8kg and in 000 (mostly due to height).
