A back pain question...

Just had a thought. Trying to decide if its worth worrying about or not.

I've been getting pain in my hip joint for about 6 weeks, & in my middle/lower back. I had x-rays done on Friday. I don't have the report, but I can't see anything at all in the films. Not that I'm a doctor, but everything looks fine.

Anyway, was just sitting here n the lounge & thinking about this other back pain. I've had a kind of crampy lower back pain. Like period type pain. In the tops of my legs too. I'm on depo, so don't get a period often & not due for one any time soon. Got my last depo shot a week ago. That was actually about 2 weeks late, with no AF in between (usually happens at the end of the 12 weeks).

So I was thinking about my ovaries or kidneys? I've never had a kidney infection that I know of. Apparently after some pain 5 years ago x-rays showed a scar on one, but I have no idea what actually caused that.

Given that its crampy period type pain, could it be something in my ovaries?

I'll be going back to the doc & following it up, but I'm wondering if it is worth worrying about?

I am not sure... I would wait until you can see your doctor... not much help I know

I suffered pain in the back, legs, lower back, ovaries, bowel etc and it was endometriosis. That's always a possibility I guess, but there are heaps of other things it could be too. Wait til you see your doctor.
