    Toy sales

My local store (the K one) is preparing for its toy sales. While in there today it has all over the shelves no Christmas lay by as we have everday low prices???????

Does this mean they have done away with the toy sales Christmas lay by???? Any one in the know???

I noticed that too. I think after the previous years stuff ups, its in their best interest. I would guess Target will also be the same. I image they will still have the usual layby terms but wont be holding things until xmas.

Yes I can totally understand why they would do it BUT surprised and think there will be a big backlash if it is that way.

:-( I rely heavily on the extended lay by term for Christmas!

My suggestion would be to do smaller affordable lay by's, pay it off in the 8 weeks them start a new one.

I know it's not "k" but Big W are doing the early Xmas lay-by at least. I usually prefer doing my Xmas shopping/lay-bys later in the year, but I think this year I'll take advantage of it so I'm not stressing so close to my EDD... Sorry, got off topic Point is, I'm not fussed, but only because I've never really used it. I'm no help whatsoever :-/

Target will have layby until 22nd Dec, but not no deposit from what I've read

from what I have heard, kmart will offer layby until close to xmas, but their everyday low price sale will go until christmas. I would think it is because so many swore off them after the last 2 or 3yrs with the consistent xmas layby stuff ups.
We dont use it, mainly because they always have way better sales closer to xmas, but also our girls interests change fair bit in 5months Thats unless we layby a trampoline or something big

same here beansbeans, we just pick things up through the year.
But we dont do santa, so our kids gets 4 presents from us (something to wear, something to read, something they want and something they need) and a present each from each other which they choose, so we dont buy a great deal.
