    Pram head support for newborns

Anyone used one? Was it worth it? I have a Baby Jogger City Mini and it doesn't have much padding at all for a newborn. I have a lambs wool insert, but it still doesn't seem like enough. Should I buy one?

I had one for DS in the capsule but he hated it from the first day. Stopped using it after a few weeks. Never had one in the pram - if they are laying flat they won't wobble too much, especially with a wool insert. Might be different if you are running, but for normal strolling I wouldn't bother.

It's just the pram we have. It's not the best for a newborn, no padding really. Big W has ones for $20, may go check them out....

A rolled up baby blanket worked fine for us. It's the kind of thing that I'd tend to wait and see whether you need when bub is here - you can always use something makeshift for a few days before you can get to the shops if you do find it's something you're wanting for.

The baby jogger website even says you can use a rolled up cloth nappy or towel for support if you want
I have the same pram and I will just wait and see what / if we need anything once Bub gets here ..

Depends how often you use the pram. If you will use it a lot then I say get the extra support. My bub has Plagiocephaly from his position in my womb but positioning can also exacerbate it.

I ended up zipping down to Big W and getting one. It was only $20 and has 2 'rolls' with the inside one being able to be taken out as bubs head gets bigger. It was just something that has been on my mind for a while. We shall see how I go.

    Thanks for your replies ladies
