    Teething misery

So DD2 is just about to turn one and is finally showing signs of getting her first tooth. Previously, she gets horrendous nappy rash overnight and is very unsettled but with nothing to show for it. Now, she has the nappy rash but she also has eczema all over her back and tummy and its spreading to her arms. For the first time, her gums are swollen and you can see the erupting tooth just beneath her gum.

My question is, is the eczema at the same time as real, proper teething coincidence or can teething cause eczema flare ups?

    TIA

Bizarrely teething always causes excema flare ups here. DS has 6 teeth and we have had a couple of bad days when the teeth were on the verge of appearing.

Normally clears up with the usual remedies pretty quickly. Hope your little one is ok.

Thank you, that is so good to know. She has never had it before and suddenly it is everywhere. Great to know that it should clear up

Ive heard a few people rave about Hylands Teething Tablets lately. Homeopathic - just bought the gel version last night so see how it goes.
