My 2 eldest DD's have been invited to a party tomorrow. Actually, my 5yo was invited as its her friend, but my 6yo managed to get herself invited as well (her mum said it was fine that she came after her DD wanted her to attend too).
So, does that mean I need to buy 2 gifts or can I buy 1 but something that's worth double the amount?
I don't think it even needs to be worth double the amount! I'd get one regular gift from the both of them. Like at Christmas and other birthdays, you don't spend more on someone if you have more family members.
I still usually spend the same amount as I normally would too, but mine love to 'give' presents so I usually get two little bits that I can wrap so they have one each.
I usually only get the 1 pressie still, sometimes I will spilt a parcel if I have a book and something else so each of my boys get to give a present. Otherwise 1 gives card and 1 gives present.
Both DD1 and DD2 were invited to DD1's friends birthday party last weekend, we ended up going with two presents as they both wanted to pick their own gifts!
