Extra payment ?

I have already called up once we got DF tax back to tell centrelink about not lodging etc and was told how much money I would get back , which I received , which I do every year ..

But I just logged onto online services and it says I will be getting a other payment this week for family tax A and rent assistance arrears , which I thought was already the first payment :/

I have applied for baby bonus , and family tax for DD2 just born , but I don't know if this extra payment is for that as it says my next payment after this bulk payment will be my regular amount I get for DD1 , so the amount hasn't changed ..

Anyone know what this is ?

It is the reconciliation payment - the amount they underpaid you throughout the last financial year.

if it doesn't have dates on it, you'll need to wait and see the letter to know for sure what period it covers. if future payments haven't changed it's possibly not related to the new child, but as i said, without dates, it's hard to know...
