    DD is all crunchy...

Has anyone had any experiences like this?

DD is small for her age. Tall, but very skinny. She's 94cm and 11kg, she's all bones.

Whenever she is picked up, or rolling around the floor, even just getting out of bed, her joints all click and crunch. It makes me feel physically sick when I pick her up and all across her upper back crunches beneath my fingers.

    What should I do?

If you're worried hon take her to a paed. My DD is the same age, similar height and 15kg. I think she looks thin, healthy thin but thin. 11kg is tiny!

No harm in getting her checked out - I remember one of mine being all crunchy too but I can't remember which one hahahaha!!!!! (Thats the problem when you have so many, all their baby stuff gels together in your head most of the time!)

My DD3 is a little younger (March 2011) and she's about the same height, yet weighs 13kg. So she's on the lighter side, but I don't think she's too light for her age - some kids are just skinny kids! Mine have all been quite skinny and then gone through a massive growth spurt between 2 and 3 years. My 3 year old weighs 18kg, and it wasn't too long ago that she was hovering on 14kg! (and I really don't understand how my kids gain weight because they don't eat hardly anything I cook for them!)

This post made me think of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, where the bones and ligaments are always popping outta place. I don't know if that's what your daughter has, maybe google it and see if it rings any bells for you. Hope everything's okay and she's just crunchier than most
