Can I still be hopeful???

Hi Ladies,

I have a dd who is nearly 5 years old. She took 15 months of trying and clomid tablets to come along.
We tried again a few years later and I got pregnant quickly. unfortunatley miscarried at 5 weeks.
We decided to try again and I got a positive test on Friday. Went for repeat bloods on Tuesday and the pregnancy test was negative.levels. The strange thing is- there hasn't been any blood orb discharge. . Is this normal.!

Hi there, I noticed no one had replied so thought I would but I don't know if I will be to helpful. Have you considered doing another hpt? If your hcg is going up then the line will be there and maybe darker. Bloods tests are usually pretty accurate but I will keep my fingers crossed for you xo

Thanks so much for replying. My bestie forced me to do a hpt and the lines were quite dark. I called the early pregnancy unit at the hospital and explained the story. They asked me to come in for bloods and the result was positive. Over 6000 hcg which puts me in the 4-6 week category. I have a dating scan booked in next week. I have no idea what happened at the gp but I will be following it up tomorrow.
