    awkward question - TMI!

so to start with YAY for me being officially in second trimester!

ok - so question is: DH and i havent done much in relation to the bedroom in the past few months as we have previously been told not to do anything as i have a sensitive cervix in the early months. This morning I was having some "personal time" ( IYKWM) and since then i have had mild crampy pains in my stomach.. is this normal??? I had my NT scan yesterday and bub was all good, growing well and healthy - but this pain has me all freaked out and concerned again.

Can someone please just let me know if you experience this type of tightening/crampy pain after bedtime activities?

p.s THANK GOD for BB cuz i could never actually ask someone this IRL!!!

Yes. After orgasm my uterus feels very crampy and later on I get lots of Braxton hicks often coming regularly. I have an irritable uterus so I anticipate it. Sometimes when dtd Dh has to stop because my uterus goes into lockdown and won't relax hahaha. It's normal but annoying!

It could also be because of the scan, I would be crampy and sore after each ultrasound. Either way it sounds like your uterus is a bit irritated, it should settle down quickly if not go get it checked.

AM I liked your op because I've been wondering the same thing! lol

I am 13weeks & after DTD I have cramping for the rest of the day (we tend to be morning people) but have also noticed it happening after personal time without any penetration & was wondering if maybe reaching O is not good for baby? I find I'm not in pain, just uncomfortable & feel heavy & crampy.
Thank you for making me feel normal

Lol no worries ticktok! like i said i would NEVER mention it IRL lol. mines has settled down.

When i think about last pregnancy DH and I never did anything in the morning so i probably slept through this whenever it was happening last time. We didnt do it much last pregnancy cuz I always had spotting afterwards and it always stressed me out too much!
