Do you put the inserts in these before or after you snap the rise to the correct size??

Is it personal preference or does one method tend to work better than the other?

    I'm a cloth nappy newb!

I've only got a couple, but I always size them first and then put the insert in. I get a smoother result that way from the booster

I snap size first. same reason as lulu, smoother otherwise the booster gets folded up and its all bulky

    Me too, snap and pack
However with dd2 she was so chunky it was easier to have her on the highest rise so I didn't have to do it for long

I agree, snap then stuff makes it easier to get the filling sitting smoothly

I always did it the other way round with DS - and the crumply bunchiness is part of the reason I hated my OSFM pockets, lol! Well aren't I a silly one?!
