Am I better off to defer DS3's vac a week?

DS3 is on antibiotics for a small patch of impetigo. He started the meds on Saturday and will be on it approx another week (till the antibiotic runs out).

He is due to have his 12-month-old vaccination later today. My gut feel is to defer until he's finished his antibiotic.
I've left two messages at the doctor's surgery to find out if I should defer or go ahead with it. As yet, no-ones called me back. I'm 75pc likely to call in the next half hour and defer. I just want another opinion or two before I postpone. I wish I'd thought to ask the dr on Saturday, but forgot. Doh!

    Cheers, Andie

I'd defer if it was me. his body is already fighting stuff off.. it wont hurt him to wait a week or two to let his body re-group.

Ah, the nurse just called. Deferring the vac until two weeks after DS3 finishes his meds. Apparently antibiotics don't mix too well with live vaccines.
