On a holiday

Dd has weaned. My breasts hold no attraction now but that of amusement.

So now they enter a little holiday period for a couple of months until baby2 arrives.

I feel so proud that despite the crazy, hellish start to my breastfeeding journey we have lasted nearly 16 months! She has fed on shields all that time, well apart from a week or so at the start.

She fed well, grew well has developed amazingly and now it's time for her to move on.

I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who supported us through the early days, the tears, the cracks, the mastitis, the shields and the over supply. It meant so much to have your support and advice when I needed it most. I could confidentially continue and now I have the tools ready for the next one. I'm sure I will still be asking questions in January though
