    embarrassing :(

Hello, i am really confused at the mo...i am ttc and have noticed that my inner labia area is reddened, (sorry tmi) and it has been for a few days, it isn't itchy, more just a little irritated, and its not just after sex. I was wondering if this could be thrush or something? I have never had it before, i havn't been on antibiotics recently. I am due for a pap next month but was also wondering if i should wait until after i get my period? Is it safe to have one in case i fall pregnant? (Could be a while yet, im super irregular) if it is thrush, could that affect my cm charting? Im finding it hard to tell when i o as it is without having any more complications :/ maybe i should be visiting the punching bag room instead...any help would be much appreciated! xxxxxxxxx

Raspberry: I got thrush during pregnancy with my DS, you get like creamy cm but it was more yellow and it was a bit smelly and super duper itchy (and I felt like I was on fire!). I got it because you aren't getting rid of bacteria through AF so it builds up. Is it sore too? If not and you have no other symptoms then I'd say it's just extra blood flow around the area, which happens every month anyway. If you have been bding more during TTC than beforehand you are stimulating the area more which will promote blood flow too. Basically if you have no other symptoms apart from redness, I wouldn't be too concerned, if you have or notice any other symptoms like soreness, strange discharge, itchy anything like that then I would start to worry a bit.

Also if you are TTC I recommend to have your pap ASAP because they can't do it during AF, pregnancy or during postpartum bleeding, so it could be nearly 12 months before you can have it if you conceive! Mid cycle is best to avoid contamination from AF.
