    Trying to contact centerlink....

Ok so I am trying to contact centerlink in regards to dd's CCB. I have to update her vaccination status. I have tried calling the number I have but I just get an engaged sound. That happens regardless of which centerlink number I try. What's the go? I have tried several times today. I don't think it is a public holiday anywhere. Am I just calling at the wrong time?

It just means all the lines are busy. Keep trying, you'll get through.

Can you do what you want to do online? Might be quicker.

I don't know. They cut off my CCB, because I delayed vaxing whilst we were overseas. I got it done in the due date, but drs office must not have got info to them online and so it is telling me I get no benefit. does that sound like I can update online? I thought they would need to look up their records.

I would check you daughters immunization status before speaking to centrelink. You can do this online with Medicare. If it is a case of the GP being slow in lodging the paperwork you will need to make sure his is completed first. If it has been completed then contact Centrelink. I don't this can be an online thing. The lines open at 8am to 8pm. Maybe try first thing in the morning and try to beat the queues.

Definitely check that your details are up to date via Medicare first. Then just persist in calling. Not sure you can do much else. Unfortunately it's very busy all day every day

I finally got into them. Mind you the number they gave on the letter to contact them in regards to it, wasn't possibly the right one. I waited 10 mins for them to answer and then a further 35 mins on the line in another que to speak to who could fix it. But done now. Thanks for all the advice girls!
