    Signs of conception?

OH and I dtd last week, and today I noticed (sorry if TMI) a weird discharge, it is mucus - like with brown in it, not much but is on the paper when I wipe. Could this be a sign of conception? I have never noticed having it before.

Thankyou for your reply I am hoping it is, but worried I may be reading into it to much as I want it to happen so bad... haha. We DTD on Friday night so that is only a few days.

    Thankyou Bambi&me.
It's a little strange as everything at the moment is baby, ads on tv, my nanna talking about me having one, and even the midday movie. Hopefully it's a sign... haha. Will be heartbreaking if Im not, but I am still losing weight and if it's meant to be, it's meant to be.
Today I still have a brownish discharge. Still not enough to make a mark on my knickers, but there when I wipe.

Thankyou I am unsure, AF started on the 3rd, and finished on the 9th. It was my first period in many years and I took the pill the month leading up. I stopped taking it when my period arrived and not taken it since. I began taking it to get them back, so I am a little more hesitant because of that...
Also I just had a shower and was washing 'down there' and some brown stuff was on my hand, kind of a mucus looking clot. (sorry if TMI)
I really, really hope I am. xx

Honestly, I am scared, I want it so bad, it will be hard to see it not come up positive, although I also kind of expect it as well . I am not sure when to test, or when is to early?
Thank you for crossing your fingers and toes for me

Also, I wanted to add, and sorry if TMI, I have gotten in the last 3 days an over sensitized clitoris. It seems swollen and sensitive, never had that before. My boobs are not sore, unless pushed, but I think they always were sore when I push them, haha.
I know it's very much TMI but did anyone else experience the sensitive clitoris? I googled it to see why it may be and they said that there is more blood flow there, hence swelling.

Well, since we're playing the TMI game... I have waaaaay better sex while pregnant due to that increased blood flow. But on the flip side I also get more ingrown hairs and *ahem* saddle sores around the groin region for the same reason.

Well I think if there is ever a time for TMI it's on a conception and pregnancy forum I noticed it the other day, never had it before - but surely even if I am pregnant, it would be way to early?

I just went to the loo and noticed a fair bit of 'fresh' blood. Almost like AF. I did insert a tampon, really thinking we weren't lucky enough to have a baby this time around.

    Hi DesperateforBaby.
I'm sorry to hear that AF has arrived. Perhaps this could make the next month much more fun for you and your partner iykwim *wink*

I don't understand why the TTC journey has to be so challenging and disappointing at times.... but perhaps it's these experiences that help us to appreciate our loved ones so much more. Conception really is a miracle journey isn't it?

Fingers crossed your next cycle is THE cycle :-)

if af is not due, I wouldn't count this cycle out yet. I only test when af is due, but I know others who test early and often.

It isn't due for another 2 weeks. But then the one just gone was my first period for years, so maybe my body is still adjusting?

I'm no expert, but I do remember when I was a lot younger I had the implanon implant. It caused a lot of constant bleeding so I had to remove it after only a few short months - but I did have a lot of random small bleeds for some time afterwards whilst my body was readjusting. Perhaps it just something similar with your body too?? I'm sure if you just give your body a little time to adjust, it will be fine :-)

Thanks for your comment - I think in reality I am just very impatient - haha. I am worried it will never happen for us. We have been having unprotected sex for 5 years or so now, but I have had no periods. Now we want to regulate them conceive sooner than later - hopefully after losing some weight this happens a little easier.
