Keeping skin folds dry and clean.

DS 2, like most babies, has deep folds around his neck. I remember them being a bit tricky to wash and dry with my others, but with him, his neck gets really scummy, really fast. It's constantly moist, red and smells a bit funky.
Any suggestions on how I keep this skin clean, hygenic and dry?
    TIA

In a house, on a hill with a big fat welcome mat!

I used to pop some desitin nappy cream under there every few days. It used to gross me out it!
    It cleared up quick
I miss the rolls now lol

A bit of Curash powder in the neck (and armpits for my two) before bedtime seems to manage it!

DD2 was the same, you might get to the folds under her first second and third chins but after that it could get missed
Cornflour in the folds after a bath is good for keeping it under control.

Had the same with DD, she was a bit spewy so sometimes I'd miss a bit of milk and she'd get red and raw, a bit of sudocream or the like always cleared it up under a day

Thanks ladies. Might wander down to the chemist today and see what we can find.

The lovely part is that we usually only bath our kids every second day, but because he's been getting a bit funky fast, DH has taken it upon himself to take the little guy in the shower with him every night. He's not done this with the others (was always scared he'd drop them) and he's loving it. Beautiful Daddy-bubba bonding going on. I went in there last night 'cause they'd been aaaages and they were both just blissing out in cuddles together! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Sudocrem or Curash if it's rashy, then just corn flour to keep it dry. DH and DS in the shower together is just the best thing ever! My boys have such a strong bond and I firmly believe this was a big part of it
