Book/laptop/tablet stand in kitchen
Small towel cupboard in bathroom
Big shelf for folding in laundry
Drying line in laundry
Built in nothing - when built ins go it's a PITA
Outdoor sink
Big linen cupboard. Possibly two. Built in cupboard in the garage for things like brooms. Walk in pantry with shelving deep enough to have appliances on them (plus power points to go with it). Floor to ceiling shelving in all wardrobes - maybe 1/4 of the wardrobe space for this.
A huge scullery/walk in pantry for my appliances and food items. The scullery would include a big benchtop, power points and hooks for hanging all my aprons
Extra large kids bedrooms combined with large walk in robes. These would have some form of in built shelving and drawers.
A pool that wraps around the house - ie a lap pool down one size which then morphs into a larger pool at the back. This would be overlooked by an alfresco area that has a built in outdoor kitchen and a pizza oven.
Main bedroom at the back of the house, main bathroom shower pipes NOT on a shared wall with the kids bedrooms, double shower, large pantry, plenty of bench space in the kitchen including an Island bench (with power points), pyrolysis (self-cleaning) oven, gas stove, ducted AC, double ensuite shower with at least one removable head, bath designed for relaxing (with reading light over the top), huge covered outdoor area with cafe blinds and big ceiling fans plus outdoor storage, clothes drying area in the laundry, separate toilets (ie not in the bathroom), wooden/laminate flooring in common areas, tinted windows where the sun comes in, block out blinds/curtains in the bedrooms, walk in ensuite robe, wire shelving/hanging space in all wardrobes ....not that I've given it much thought!
Oh, and pull out kitchen drawers rather than cupboards - soft closing. Bigger fridge too. Huge linen press. Power points everywhere!

I would have The Ultimate Laundry - complete with stands for washing machine & dryer so I would never have to bend over again, a waist- height sorting/folding bench, a drying rack, and a spot for the ironing board. I would also have a storeroom/utility room, equipped with shelves for storing those bigger household things that you really don't want to have to go out to the spider-infested dusty shed for. And an extra, independently plumbed dunny so that there would always be at least one functioning toilet.
I would love a spa bath in the ensuite that has fold back windows, surrounded by a fernery (or nestled into the rain forest) with fairy lights so I could have an outdoor or indoor bath depending on mood / weather. Complete with mood lighting & shelves for candles, a book & the all important glass of wine
Separate drying courtyard that had a retractable roof so it could be used in winter.
Slightly higher than normal kitchen benches. I'm tall and always feel like I'm bending over.
Built in bookcases in the study so I can free my books from the super over stacked ones I've got.
We built our own house approx ten years ago ( then sold it and moved here!).
We had very low light sensor lights in our hall and ensure, so you could get up in the night and walk to the toilet or kitchen without turning the lights on. It was great but I always got a huge fright when DH was working nights and the cat set the lights off!
Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge leading to outdoor deck. Oh and a sea view is must!
I love the library, the kids floor (all kids bedrooms are on their own floor), the 4 seperate entertaining areas, the soundproof room and the yard in our family home.
A library with floor to ceiling bookcases and ladders to access, with a hidden door. Office within the library, with a view of the garden (an area cordoned off and inaccessible to small people). A studio area somewhere in there.
An attic for storage.
A room for a live-in nanny. With a live-in nanny (who likes doing laundry...).
A great big chicken coop with run that has the easy to clean access (for my DDs, who are responsible for the chicken cleaning).
Lots of space for the playground equipment and cubby house, not seen from the street. Lots of native trees.
A beautiful vegetable garden with raised beds and a path system laid out around them.
NO POOL! But maybe a very kind neighbour with a heated pool and a gate in our joined fence to come in whenever we like. In return, I'll grow them vegies.
Lots of skylights, great big solar power system on the roof, huge water tank hidden away and all the eco-friendly features you can possibly stuff into the house.
Master bedroom large enough for king size bed, bedside tables either side, HUGE walk in robe with lots of shelving (we have a walk in robe with shelving and I LOVE IT!) and floor to ceiling mirror, main window to the bedroom is a floor to ceiling retractable (folding) glass doors (with inner wall sliding insect/mesh doors) that lead to a private courtyard. Ensuite to master bedroom has a nice large spa/jet bath and twin walk in showers with shower heads either end that cross over in the middle, with great pressure, shelves and large mirror with windows near the bath (the private courtyard wraps around so no one else could see in), lots of cupboards for towels and stuff, toilet separate to the bathroom (door that leads off).
Study would have to have floor to ceiling, room width window overlooking paddocks, walls opposite each other floor to ceiling bookshelves some displays and draw storage around the bottom with a built in wrap around desk in the middle of the room connected to the bookcase, wall with door for hanging prints/etc on.
Large Lounge room, again big windows, fireplace with fire gate thingy and a wood storage cabinet built into the wall (that can be accessed as well from outside of the house), shelving and built in display cases.
Kitchen, wrap around benches with island in the middle, large window overlooking paddocks as well, HUGE walk in pantry, plenty of deep shelving, lots of shelving in the kitchen, with glass cases for glasses, plates, mugs etc, LOTS of storage space. Extra large fridge along with a deep chest freezer recess (for those home grown meats!), heavy duty dishwasher.
Kids rooms, Large rooms, one wall completely occupied by walk in robes, with built in draws, shelving etc, Built in bookcase/toy storage area, plenty of wall space to hang works of art and eventually childhood crush posters. Kids rooms all spill out into the kids activity room, where majority of their toys are kept. Kids bathroom run on separate lines to ensuite, again with seperate toilet.
Laundry has Lots of linen storage, Built in washer/dryer, wall mounted, Waist height wide bench for folding washing, special dog bed nook for dog/s complete with own special dog door that leads to a large dog run, along with area for dog water bowl and feed bowl/s. Another toilet off the laundry.. Laundry leads off onto patio with those washing lines that hang off the walls, all undercover.
Games room, Large, open, sweeping, retractable doors lead out to the HUGE entertainment area, raised, with BBQ area with own sink/outdoor kitchen & Woodfire oven along with fire pit in the middle, retractable doors to enclose entertaining area during winter/wet weather, complete with own bar.
Large paddocks, with some smaller ones, each with sun/day shelters. 18 stables + 6 walk in walk out stables. All paddocks irrigated and have water troughs that self fill. Stable also has separate office and lockable tack room, storage and feed room. Large hay shed with easy access from road, area for floats near stables. Horse hose down/wash bays, tie up areas, 2 Arena's (one outdoor, one undercover), 2 large round yards, 1 smaller one. Stable would also be equip with industrial washing machine and dryers for horse rugs, saddle blankets etc. Own toilet and industrial sized wash basins.
Garage can fit 4 cars underneath with extra high roof. On other side of garage (away from house) is a building, high ceilings, large windows, used for a photography studio. Includes own bathroom, toilet and kitchenette.
HUGE water tanks for rain water, plus max limit of solar panels.
Huge shed for the man, with own man cave, Loft above for storage. Also large resort style pool, fenced off, Gardens, veggie patch's, chicken run, plenty of backyard for kids to run and play in. Roller shutters on all windows as well and mesh security screens, High ceilings throughout and storage everywhere, Deep porch off front door, guest room in the house off 2nd (or informal lounge) and also a "caretaker" house, complete with own plumbing, kitchen, 2 bedroom, lounge and porch separate to main house. POWER POINTS EVERYWHERE!
I could run agistment and photography off the property, I can train horses to my hearts content. Hubby would be more then happy with the set up and kids would be close to each other and still far enough away from each other not to kill one another lol.. Veggie patch, solar panels and rain water would make us almost self reliant.. Full fencing around entire property with gates with roadside access on all exposed sides. Probably two story, study most likely being at the top, along with 2nd lounge and guest bedroom (or two)
The library from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. And a tower. DH is putting one on the house when we extend, but I suspect he just says that to humour me.
