Do you get more for where you live?

Sorry this is in the wrong area I couldn't find the centre link part on my phone :/

Do you receive more or less depending on where you live in regards to CL /FAO payments?

Fao, no. If you rent as opposed to purchasing, you may get rent assistance

Other payments can be impacted though. If you move to an area of lower employment opportunity and you are a job seeker, there may be a penalty applied to your payment for a period of time. So for example moving from Melbourne to a tiny town in country vic.

There are also remote area allowances that are payable with some payments if you live very remotely.

But if you're taking suburb to suburb within the same metro area, or even major rural areas, generally payments for fao would be the same

RA wouldn't increase (there are capped levels) but if you check the human services website, you may find a bit more about remote area eligibility

this page should explain it a bit
    Remote Area Allowance

I'm in a remote area where kids are eligible for Isolated education allowance (Or something along those lines), but I still don't qualify for the isolated assistance payments. I'm in Southern WA. Northern & Central WA are entitled in some area's.
There is a map on the website
