Repeat Mirena Users

Hi everyone

I'm interested to hear from anyone who's used a Mirena in the past, gone on to have another bub, then had another Mirena inserted.

Its been nearly 4 years since I had the Mirena removed and now my son is almost 1, I'm looking for Contraceptive options and am seriously considering the Mirena again.

When having it in last time, I bled for 3 months straight which came with cramping etc. I also had some hair loss. Other than that, up until the 2 year mark, it was great.

My main concern is the bleeding and cramping. And obviously the hair loss. But I'm really looking for a contraceptive to help balance out my crazy moodswings from Ovulation to AF.

Yes. I had a mirena then had it removed to have a baby and now have another mirena.
Both times I have bled for 6 months with only a couple of days break :/ but once it has finally stopped it is great !
Ive had no issues....except I am really starting to think they take out my libido before they put the mirena in lol hmmmm
