So Ive posted before about the many issues we have had with this home and the RE. The last inspection we had was on the 19th of September. They didn't lock the doors when they left.
Then 3 weeks ago (as the owner has decided to sell) we had the big boss of the RE come through with builders and a professional camera guy to take photos and see what needs to be done to pretty up the house.
Then the last week of November they sent builders out and they were here working for 2 days. Then we were give a week notice to have the house home open ready and they had a home open on the 1st of Dec, which by the way they didn't lock the doors properly for either!!! Now we get a letter telling us we have a rent inspection in 7 days!!! WTF!!!!! You were here for the home open which the house had to be spotless for, cant you just leave us alone for a bit for freak sakes!!!!!
They have been in and out of our home for weeks. What happened to our right of quiet enjoyment to the home we pay good money to live in. Frustrated
Unfortunately in this instance it sounds like they have every right to be there. They are giving you the correct amount of notice. Also, an open home and the inspections would be done by two different departments - sales and property management.
It sucks, but this is the way it is when the owner decides to sell.
Thanks Jaycee. We know they can just a tad annoying. We were told to write to them and request they do it later. But we dont see the point we keep the home clean anyway so wont matter if they do it now or later lol.
Just been alot in such a short time
How frustrating! When we had stuff being done to our property I gave them a list when they re-signed the lease, so they knew what we were getting done and could decide if they wanted to stay and put up with the annoyance. I felt so bad for them, it felt like a different tradie was going there every week!
