    self weaned at 3.5

    DD is 3.5 exactly today, and I think we can say she has weaned. She hasn't had a proper boob for awhile, and when I offered tonight she went to latch then said "I'll pat Purple to sleep" (shes named my boobs Pinky and Purple) ad drifted off to sleep on my lap.
    I feel strangely sad, but I've been ready for awhile, and I'm so glad she did it gently, and on her terms.
    Though now I don't get to walk to school for booby at recess
