    Two Questions

I just got a letter that my FTB has been reconciled and the money owed to us has hit my account; when I went to let them know I didn't need to do a tax return the online form said that I needed to speak to the tax office to be sure which I assume was to do with child support as I haven't paid any tax/earnt any money but anyway, I hadn't got around to that (bit slack) but since my FTB has been reconciled does this mean I don't need to do a tax return then?

Second question is we didn't get our supplement for DD2 because of vaccination status, I guess for the varicella vaccine although we didn't have that for DD1 until just before she began kindy at around 4 and never ran into this issue so not sure, will need to follow that up but just curious if we sort out this (by either considering the vaccination now instead of later as originally planned or sorting out objection forms) will the money be paid or is it lost forever now?

    Re: Two Questions

sounds like your non lodgement details have been processed.

the supplement for DD2 isn't lost - yet! you have til the end of this financial year (so jun 30) to get your status up to date - be it through an approved catch up, actual vaccination or conscientious objection lodged with the childhood immunisation register. once that is lodged, and the info updated through the centrelink/ACIR link (using medicare details), your supplement for that DD will be paid.

You will probably still need to let the ATO know that you don't need to lodge. I'm not sure if centrelink would share that info with them. There should be a form on their website. Check ASAP as tax returns are now overdue.

Definitely need to notify all departments (CSA, ato and fao) if not required to lodge a tax return
