    Kindle collections

Wondering if anyone who has a Kindle can help me out here?

I recently deregistered my kindle and when I registered it again all my collections are out of whack. They are still there and the books are still associated with each collection but they are also now on the home screen.

If I press "add to collection", it is already in the collection. Some new books that I've downloaded, when I add them to a collection, they are still on the home screen. I'm sure they used to be removed from the home screen?

Isn't that the whole point of collections? So that my home screen is only a list of folders, not 21 pages of titles??

It is extremely upsetting my OCD tendencies...!

I have no idea sorry. I've only just started putting everything into a collection now that I'm starting to get too many books on there and I've not had the problem you've had. I wonder if it's something you can sort out via the website and then sync your kindle to it?

I'm stick under a baby ATM so can't reach my Kindle to check, but the second problem might just be a case of how they're organised? If you organise by collection, I *think* it should do what you want it to do. It might have reset itself to organise by title or author?

I hadn't thought to check on the computer... I've never logged in via amazon with kindle connected. Might give that a go tomorrow!
