Lots of photo frames and as long as the paint isn't pealing we've used 3M picture tape with great success to hang canvases, framed photos, art etc.

    Soft furnishings, cushions, throws, rugs.

If you are keeping your packing boxes try to store them put of sight.

Space clearing. Google it. Karen Kingston and Denise Linn both have good how-to information on this.

The spoonflower blog had a series called Rental Dec - which had a whole series of removable projects with wallpaper and decals designed for renters.

"Renters, rejoice! For the month of May, we're sharing DIY projects to personalize those temporary spaces we call home. We're bringing you simple and beautiful how-tos easily achieved with custom removable wallpaper and decals"

Will PM you the link. It gave me some ideas, we are not renting - but wanted some non-permanent ideas.

We use rugs , cushions , pictures on walls with the hooks provided or 3m hooks .. Pics in frames .. Having our memories around the house .. Different curtains ..

We are using cool colorful string lights around as well ..

With removable wall stickers , I know they are removable but not all real estates and land lords will allow them . You will have to check before hand to make sure it's ok ..

can definitely second the use of rugs and throws. it helped make our places seem like home. and DD1s room did have wall decals which helped.
