    Help! Swollen lips

    Hi guys
Dd2 is allergic to milk but she ate a bit of doritos chips which has cheese.

After a little while her lower lip swelled up pretty badly.

I gave her a dose of claryntine and checked her tongue for swelling.

Only her lower lip is swelled.

She has no problems breathing or talking and currently drinking milk

Do i need to do anything else?

    Thanks in advance

I don't know, so I am not much help.
But if she is having reactions as severe as facial swelling, I would be going back to my pead g/p and looking at getting something like an epi pen.
Maybe you should ring one of the nurse helplines.?
    I hope she is ok.

I wouldn't be trying to get or administering an epipen if she isn't anaphylactic. It is pure adrenalin which is why it is only used in extreme circumstances. It isn't good for little bodies unless needed. Getting your LO to suck on an icy pole or ice cube will help with the swelling too.
