Children's books about mama having a baby / new baby in our lives

    Hello!

So baby girl #2 is due April and DD is 2 next month. I'd love some suggestions for age-appropriate picture / story books that explain the situation to her I.e. Of pregnancy and / or life when a new baby comes. DD is pretty switched on and loves a good book so I don't want to dumb anything down if you know what I mean. She knows there is a baby sister growing inside mama's tummy and very slowly it is getting bigger and bigger and one day she will grow too big to fit inside my tummy so she will have to come out and when she does she will be much smaller than DD and won't be able to speak etc but she will love her big sister with all her heart. At least that's how I tell it DD also knows that's how/where she started. Anyway I digress... What books do you love ?

There's a house inside my mummy is a pretty good book to describe pregnancy.

My new baby board book is a nice book and was our favourite for showing baby fitting into family life. We have the one written by Annie Kubler but it's not available anymore. I think the one by Rachel Fuller is pretty much the same.

We also liked The New Baby at Your House. We have never really read it all but it uses photos rather than illustrations and my son responds to photos so it was good for us.
