    1st Birthday

So I am looking for ideas for DD 1st Birthday party. I have a simple theme planed and am doing all catering myself my problem is where to have it. I only have a very small town house and was going to do it at a park but bubs birthday is the end of May so I'm worried about wet weather. It's only 5 other babies but then a lot of family, around 30max in total. Any ideas where I could have it?

    Re: 1st Birthday

We looked at local community houses for DD's first birthday and got a fantastic place through the local council. It was a house with a fully supplied kitchen, and access to a fantastic park. Worked well with the age range we had

Your setup was really good emmjayt.
We had Spocks at home. But like you hers is the end if may. The weekend we had it it poured solid for three days...our yard flooded and roof leaked...
So yes find somewhere inside! How about a town hall or scout hall or something you could hire for the day

    Re: 1st Birthday

Def try a community centre. Our mother's group did a joint first birthday at a family centre...cost all of $60 for three hours with full kitchen, use of all their toys, fenced outdoor area with playground. Went to one at a family centre a couple of weeks ago - so worth the money IMO!

Thanks guys, that's fantastic. I'm not stressing so much about where to have it now.
