    Canvas Collage Question!

Okay, I have a question! and so very desperately need an answer.

I am wanting to do a photo collage onto a canvas for my Hubby's 40th birthday!

I will have about 30 odd pics to be used. Some of those are small quality due to the fact I have scanned the original photo's from 40 years ago!

There are also some pics friends have sent that they have taken a photo of and emailed me (if that makes sense) as they live in different states!

Does anyone know anywhere that could do this? I have tried online shops like snapfish, bigw and harvey norman and a cple I have already forgotten! but they only work with about 9 - 15 pics.

    Any suggestions would be welcome!

    Thanks

there are lots of free versions of software around the traps - you could download one and do the layout yourself -then save it as a pic file (jpg or similar) and upload that. that's what i do when i'm working on bigger projects

    Re: Canvas Collage Question!

Google's Picasa software - has an excellent collage feature in it - it will allow as many photos as you want, has auto organise and organise yourself options. It comes with lots of paper sizes and you can define your own. I would use that and then save it as a jpg and upload to get printed. I never use any of the photo sites collage feature because I think is better and cheaper to create collage yourself and get printed as one file. Picasa 3.9 is the current version.

    Re: Canvas Collage Question!

Yes, agree re Picassa, I Have made a collage using picassa that ended up as a collage - was about 18 photos

**Top Tip though, work out how big a canvas you are going to order, then use the same dimensions for your picassa collage so it all fits nice. When you are picking what size collage there is an option to pick 'custom' so you can match it all up, otherwise the canvas might chop off some crucial bits
