Parenting Payment (Partnered) Cancellation

I forgot to report last week, we were away and it just slipped my mind completely. Log on tonight and find out our payment has been cancelled eek. What happens now? Can we start a new claim for parenting payment? Going to call in the morning just kind of wondering what I'll be facing. Stupid scatterbrain.

Given it's just due to failing to report, you should be able to report and have payment restored

Make sure you have the last few report amounts on hand. Generally there has to be more than one report missed for payment to cancel

Hmm I don't think I've missed another, was last paid early Jan and so missed the one due late Jan. Have a letter saying cancelled due to failure to report and not much else. Don't see any option to report income anymore on my online services.

Went to the Report Employment Income section and it says I haven't reported income in the last 12 weeks but that can't be right because in my payment history I have had PPP paid in early January and late December and I do remember doing those reports unless it means something else?

If it's failure to report you should be able to fix it on the phone. The twelve weeks thing may be due to your reporting frequency changing for some reason (if you have consistent or no income the system may have changed you to 12 weekly reporting. Hard to know for sure. But should be fixable over the phone

All sorted. I did somehow miss two!! The early Jan payment is from late processing over Christmas because we didn't report early so must have got me muddled up.

Used the call back service which is brilliant and had a very kind and helpful staff member fix it all up quickly, was very impressed with my dealings with them! Is there a way to leave positive feedback?
