So Miss 5 started school this year and will be using OOSH 3 days a week.
It is registered so I will get CCR. I have updated CL online to say that she is attending school and i can see it says that in one part, but under the childcare bit it still says she's not currently attending school. I'm thinking this is for one of 2 reasons - OOSH aren't due to invoice me until this week or I have missed updating something somewhere...
Do I need to let CL know that she is now at an OOSH service and not at a LDC or will this happen anyway?

I believe that Cetrelink doesn't count your child as 'school aged' until they turn 6 years old. You will get the higher loading for your CCB until they turn 6 so perhaps that is the reason.
DS is in OHSC 2 mornings and I've simply given them his CRN (and mine) and assumed it would all be sorted, didn't think I'd need to update anything online etc so keen to know if this is necessary
Both my boys use OHSC. My youngest started Prep this year and my eldest is 7. I receive the CCR and it was all handled by the centre. I didn't notify Centrelink or anything else.
You need to call Centrelink and tell them to update the childcare side of things to say your child attend school. I learnt that last year and ended up with a small debt due to over payment. Day care and oosh are different rates or something so I wasn't paying enough!
I haven't looked online because I'm on my phone, but will ask you - the update you did, was it for school kids bonus update or for child care? They are seperate updates. I can't recall if they are both counted in the online update.
Your child's age doesn't come in to it. If they are at school they are at school. It needs to be updated. I would suggest making a call to get it changed. The CCB payment for a school ages child is only 85% of that for a pre schooler. So every day you don't have it changed there is a potential for being overpaid. Definitely get it updated.
I had to ring to check also and it looks like I filled in the wrong part online as per what BG said, I don't get CCB only CCR so hopefully it hasn't had an effect on us. I dealt with a lovely lady who fixed it up super quick for me. Get dialling ladies!
