    Mixing previously expressed?

Is it ok to mix freshly expressed milk in with milk that's been expressed earlier (about 4hours earlier)? I'm not sure if it's ok or not, but I don't really have enough bottles to keep leaving small amounts in them, at the same time I don't want to use a whole express (50-80ml) for bub if she only drinks 40ml or so. Advice?

Yes you can mix them as long as it's the same temperature.

If you keep the first one in the fridge, put second in fridge and then when it is cool add to the first.

Are you freezing milk? I would only freeze in smaller amounts (30-50ml or less) if you using as top ups, so you don't have to waste any. Can you get some ebm bags or freezer trays for storage?

Yeah, you can chill and add. Freezing and storing in small amounts is a good way to avoid wastage.

Not freezing at the moment. Glad I can chill and add. I'm starting to get super tired with all the feeding then topping up then expressing. So glad DH is still on leave. I'm only really expressing an extra 30-80ml at the moment, but when I'm only getting the 30, I'd like to have a little extra in the fridge just in case bubba needs more
