You can apply online or through the app from about 10pm the day your payment processes (so a Wednesday payment processes on a Monday) and the $$ will be in on the Thursday morning.

You can apply today online. It should be processed Monday and in your account Wednesday (provided you are eligible)

    Re: Centrelink advance

Do you have to pay for it when you order it? If not, I'd order it anyway, but go in and pay for it when the money comes in, which would either be Wednesday or Thursday, businesses don't usually mind if you pick it up a day or so after it comes in?

You will have to pay upfront before delivery at most places. Most don't do cash on delivery.

    Re: Centrelink advance

Where would you be buying from? I know places like the good guys get it delivered to their store then will deliver to you, so perhaps if it's a place like that, they will get it to their store, you pay for it all including delivery, then it gets delivered itms?

    Centrelink advance

Thank goodness for members who know centrelink stuff.. sanity Savers ;-)
    heres My tips...
I wonder if anyone had a Choice membership and can help you with your research. I found it really useful to use their website( using a friends membership details) to research buying a washing machine recently. I also discovered that once you know the model you want, it's easy to do a search and use one of the websites that compare prices ( like getprice or my shopping) to find the best deal. We ended up buying from appliances online because they price matched a competitor and had free delivery... thank-you very much at over $300 off rrp!

See if you can find a buying service. You won't get cheaper. I'll see if I can locate one for you.

This is what I mean... This is Vic, but I'm sure you would have agencies in Brisbane that offer the same service.
