    Incontinence & sling surgery

Well the time has come that I really need to look at having this surgery done but to be honest I am completely terrified

I've done my reading/research and have had initial appointments with doctors/surgeons and I have got the basic information but they only give you the surgical side and the facts.

I was wondering if anyone has had this surgery and how your experience was. How long were in hospital for, are you having any side effects, has it worked, how long were you not able to do anything around your home/drive etc??

Any thing/tips that you can share would be fabulous.

It's so hard getting my head around potentially 6 weeks unable to do anything with 3 young kids

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan.

Oh hon. I know how this would be eating you. Huge hugs. One of dd1s old carers had it. She was in her 40s and recovered really well. A few days in hospital and then bored ****less at home for the rest of the time. She was in a little bit of pain for a few days then fine.

Hope someone can help with more info xo
