    Green snot and other kids

Dd has a cold since returning from holidays, only symptom is greenish snot for last 3 days, otherwise quite happy. Should I avoid a mothers group catch up? We are planning to go to a playground.
I'm desperate for a catch up as we've been stuck at home for the last 3 days but don't want to pass it on.

My view is "it's a cold, there are no newborns my child will play with, colds help the immune system learn." I would go.

A flu or a fever, maybe not. It's not as if they pick each others' noses.

I'd go..I don't think they are really contagious anymore at that stage.

I would go, but I would also give the others the courtesy of knowing before hand. Personally I have still gone to catch ups knowing other children have colds.

Thanks, that's the answer I wanted.

I just messaged them on Facebook to give them the option anyway :-)

Yeah, I'd go and let them know. You'll be outside anyway
