I freeze too, just use it again within 2/3 weeks though as I find it goes a bit funny otherwise
I buy bulk meat and freeze it, then thaw it out and cook it for dinner. We always have heaps left over so I sometimes freeze the dish I have made. Is this ok? I've been doing it for years![]()

yup - we do this all the time - as long as it's been cooked properly between defrosting and re-freezing it's fine.![]()
Yeah, you can re freeze once it's cooked, because cooking it kills any pathogens that might have grown while it was warming up from frozen. You can't re freeze it safely if it's still raw.
