Medicare office for Family Services/child care benefit queries

Does anybody know if I can go to a Medicare office to ask about/apply for the child care benefit and rebate? It's been a while since I went into Medicare, but I remember some tellers doing the Family Services stuff while others did Medicare - does that sounds right? Or do I have to go to a Centrelink office?

(I've tried to set up the online services account but it's not working and I need to go in and see someone to get it sorted.)

    Thanks for you help!

Most of them are combined offices now, so hopefully there is one near you. Good luck

Ring up. The wait in an office will be very long, and chances are they will put you on a phone anyway. Make a cuppa, read a book, ask your questions over the phone. Much better way to wait. Heaps more comfy
