High temps and teething are unrelated. Is she managing to stay hydrated?
DD has just cut 2 molars at once. She's also had high temps for 3 days now, Panadol brings it back down quickly. She is a bit grizzly and also has a cold so she's snotty too. Daycare seems to think the temps are related to the molars. Has anyone else has high temps with teething? I tried to get her in to see the GP today, but they were booked out. Is this something to be expected with molars?

what's high temps for you guys? mchn told me slightly raised temps 'sometimes' with teething (for your child) but not high temps. I checked last time my little guy had high temp as I thought it was probably related to teething, couple days later he broke out in a rash - turns out it was a viral infection.
My little guys temp was 39.2 with his viral infection. Could be your dd is still feeling a bit cruddy with her cold, although it's a good sign she's happy to play, has wet nappies etc.
I've been a few times with ds for viral infections/colds and they always ask about wet nappies & if he's ok 'within himself' (not lethargic etc). They check his throat, ears & take his temp. Then tell me he's fine & it will clear up in time! I always like to go though... puts my mind at ease. : )
how's your dd today, tasha?
She's still got a high temp38.8 just now. She's still ok, but just a bit flat and grizzly. I am making an appointment first thing in the morning, it's been 4 days now I can't just keep giving her panadol every day. SIL is looking after her tomorrow so I don't have to put her in daycare. SIL has a cold too, but it's probably better than 10 colds at daycare lol.
Also she has a rash that looks like sunburn on the outer tops of her thighs and tops of her arms I have just noticed. No bumps.
How is she this morning Tasha?
It seems everything i posted yesterday disappeared....but she is good nowMonday morning she was terrible, woke up red hot and shaking. temp was 39.1. DH took her to the doctors and she has a red, sore throat too. So she gave us some amoxil syrup stuff and within one dose before bed she was getting better already. By morning she was a different baby, all smiles and happy
