Im curious on this too... mainly cause i have started leaving Spock alone in the bath for short periods, eg while i go grab a glass of water or get her pjs. Ahe is now 27months. And i do keep her talking while im gone, encourage. Her to tell me a story or sing me a song.
Im curious if this is about the same age others did.
She does rarely have a bath on her own tho. Either i have a shower and put the plug in and she bathes too (our shower is over the bath) or i just have one with her
I feel more comfortable with mine in the shower alone than the bath. Dd is 4 next week & I feel ok with her in the bath alone at waist level. DS likes it deeper, so even though there are 2 of them, I'm just as wary as if it was only dd. I leave the door open & listen to everything. Call out if it's too quiet.
I think it's been the last 12 months or so I've been leaving her alone for longer.
We have 3 boys aged 5, 3 and almost 1 (he'll be1 next Tuesday). They bath together with minimal supervision from DH and I. We are generally upstairs with them but will be in and out doing other things. DS5 washes himself, DS3 and DS1 are still given a proper wash by DH but DS3 is given a face washer to "wash" himself with as well. DS5 dries and dresses himself while the others are both still dried and dressed by us.
I let DD and DS1 bath alone with the water at about waist level, the door must be open and I call out to them every 5 mins or so to see if they're ok. I remember loving a bath on my own at that age (and most especially now!!). They are almost 8 and 6. DS2 (who is 3 3/4), I won't leave alone entirely, but I am in and out, usually washing dishes whilst he bathes. I can see part of the bath from the kitchen sink, so I am happy with that. My boys usually bath together though, and I feel better when they do, there is less space for them to drown or do dumb things! And when all three of them are in there together, they're like peas in a pod and can barely move, so that's even better, lol.
As for washing, they have some natural soap there for them to use, but I don't specifically wash them or insist they wash themselves. I wash their hair once a week. Unless they're really dirty (hair or body) I don't worry too much about actually scrubbing them down. They will sometimes wash themselves with the soap, and they like to do each other's backs (lol, so cute to watch them take care of each other!).

DS1 is 4 - he showers by himself, and has been for the last year. The bathroom door is open and I pop my head in a few times to make sure he is on track and not just playing in there.
Once or twice a week he has a bath. He's been doing that on his own for about a year and a half... Again, we obviously check on him and call out, but he's NEVER quiet (chatterbox), so we always know he's ok.
We don't have a bath :'( But I put both the girls in the shower alone. Sometimes I'll start my shower with them and give them both a wash, then hop out and let them have a play etc. Other times I'll just pop them in there by themselves. I check in on them every few minutes, and our house is tiny so we can hear them no matter what room we're in. They love it They're 3.5 and 22 months.
I will add, DD doesn't really wash herself & I don't really wash her either. She breaks out with eczema, so we haven't started with soaps or washing hair yet. She'll have a bath in dettol, or apple cider vinegar on occasion, especially if she's fallen over & has skin off, or has a cut on her foot somewhere (she's always got some sort of injury), but we don't use soaps yet.
She knows to clean her bits, but probably doesn't do it more than every 2-3 days. Unless she's actually grubby, then we'll put some effort in
