Doesn't like to be left alone

I used to think my baby (15 weeks old) doesn't like tummy time, it's always a struggle with him, today I realized that he doesn't like to be left alone in general O.o. he can lay on his back for 10 minutes or on his trampoline or anywhere really, then he starts crying! he never liked being on his tummy and it's still hard for him, he holds his head up but doesn't lift himself with his hands. what to do to gain more time for myself? to clean, to eat, just for the basic things. I can't entertain/hold him 24/7 I will go crazy!

Do you have a baby carrier? If so, wear him! If not, get one!

An ergo or a manduca might be good options for your purposes. There are facebook groups that discuss different carriers and you can get advice. But also there are babywearing meets where you can try on different ones from the libraries to see what you like before you buy.

The carriers make life SO much easier. I do the washing, food prep, vaccuming etc with bub in mine. She's been in a carrier since she was 10 days old.

I also put bub in her high chair nearby when I am cooking dinner. She likes being near the action

We have a carrier "lillebaby" and before that we used a fabric one. he likes being in the carrier only when I walk outside where he can look and see the world. At home he might be in the carrier if I put him to sleep there, if he is awake he won't stay there for long.

    High chair?

What part of the world are you in? Is there another word you use for the baby chair used at the dinner table for eating? It's high off the ground?

Your bub will learn to accept things like the carrier and be left alone for short periods if you are consistent. I find sometimes DD might whinge when I first put her down, but if there are a few interesting toys on the floor with her, and if I keep talking while she can't see me, she will quickly stop whinging. I don't leave her to cry and get distressed, but there's a difference between a distressed cry and a whinging cry.
