I tie-dyed a few wondersuits before Alexzander was born using Dylon die. They didn't fade at all, but he grew out of them quickly so were only used (and washed) 1/2 a dozen times.

When Olivia was a baby I did a whole stack of cloth nappies and singlets and all in ones in rainbow colours. I used Dylon cold water dyes with a ton of salt. This held the dye. Charlie then wore the same stuff and Lexie is now into them as well!

Gigi is the queen of dyeing cloth nappies. I'm sure she'll drop by.

I used the Dylon in cold water with heaps of salt as well and I did that about 7 yrs ago and they are still as bright with my 4th bubba who is now wearing them, I'm also thinking of doing some more soon in bigger sizes.
