Hey girls,
Trish, it sounds to me like Teyah needs a good sleep, and can't remember how to do it without you. Have you thought about goint to a sleep settling course? It might be good for a refresher, but then again they would advise aginst it if she is sick...catch 22!! Your house sound like it is getting tense. I hope today is a better one.... And I hope teyah get better rel quick!
Wato's court case was for wrongful dismissal... he was put off when I had Violet.
Yay for lunch Sarah!! I wish I had a chef in the family!! Hmmm my mum is nearly, she cooked for many years in the local pub... does that count? She can make something out of nothing! Amazes me, I look in her cupboard and think..."I think I'll buy a pizza!" and she sees a million things in there.
Congrats on your anniversary Scarlett!! Hope you have a good day today
Well Violet slept without her wrap last night... she kicked her bankets off...grrr!! I might just try the bottom half wrapped today.
Congrats on your anniversary Scarlett - have a great day. How is Emily going?
Tanya - I'm assuming Violet didn't wake up even though she kicked her blankets off? Matty does that all the time, I have him in a sleeping bag but his little arms and hands get cold but I don't want to use mittens either cause they will get wet. Do we know when they start to regulate their own temp?
Sarah - sorry to hear about Zander, hopefully you've had a couple of better nights with him.
Same for your Trish, how is Tehya? Hope you've had a better night/day.
How is everyone else?
Matty is well, I am well. Have a good day everyone.
You are not wussy for wanting your baby close to you, Sarah! You do what works for you and Zander - that's all that matters!!
Have fun doing the washing!!
Trish - I agree with Tanya - things sound tense. Can your Mum take Tehya and Noah for a few hours for you so that you can have some "me" time? I worry about you.
Tanya - it's good that Violet got to sleep without her wraps but a pain that she kicked the blankets off! Don't you wish we could have a robot that watched the babies at night and put the blankets back over them when they needed??
Nell - good to hear that things are going well at your place. Cruising along nicely by the sounds of it!

Health Concerns: Bad eczema, colic and UTI's

Welcome to the 1 - 3 month thread Angela. Hope all is going well with you and Ella. Great name BTW.
Sarah, I don't blame you for wanting him closer to you in the night. Tehya is still in my room. Actually she will be for some time, there is no more room for her in our shoebox
Deb, mum said when I was pg that she would take Noah so I could have a break. Yes, I'm still waiting. Thurs and Frid. are my days off from him. I live for preschool. How sad is that. How's Gab going? HGopefully she's doing well.
Tanya, good to hear that Violet can sleep without being wrapped. Buggar that she kicked her blankets off though, atleast she slept through it. I had thought about booking into Tresillian or somewhere like that. Onbly problem is all the rest of the kids that need to be looked after, getting the big boys off to school and Noah during the day.
We ( Tehya and I) got a half decent night sleep last night. She didn;'t go down til late, around 10 ish but only had 2 feeds overnight. Not sure how many times she woke though, I'm getting to the stage where I barely wake and shove the dummy back in and pat her off to sleep.
She's being a grumble bum today. Quite sooky and whenever I feed her she only feeds for a couple of minutes then starts screaming. Not sure if her mouth is sore or what. Tried some bonjela anyway. Somethings got to work right.....
Better go she starting again and I have to go get Noah from pre school.
Oh joy, the school holidays have started now. I get to have them all home. Atleast Noah's preschool still runs in hte holidays
Heya Angela!! Glad you found your way here! Geez... Fi and I are single-handedly recruiting stacks of new BB chatters, LOL (Angela was in our antenatal class too!). GO GEELONGIANS!!! How's little Ella going?
Trish - sorry to hear your Mum isn't standing to her word on taking Noah off your hands for a while. That's a pain. LOL @ you living for pre-school. I don't blame you! Good to hear you got a bit more sleep last night.
WTG Deb!! We should make you chief BB recruiter!! How is little miss Gabrielle going?
Bumma about your mum not taking Noah Trish. Maybe just drop him round one day? Yay at a half decent sleep, that's gotta be better than a bad one?
Well, we decided this morning that we will probably have 3 babies! We're going to start TTC probably in January. We were thinking of having them all about 2yrs apart - not sure if that's possible with our frtility issues, but we'll see!
Wow! 3 babies, hey Sarah? You are a braver woman than I. Ikwym about the fertility issue thing. It weighs on my mind all the time. If we leave it too long, will we miss our chance? Yet, I am not sure yet how soon I want another (if at all!). It certainly complicates things tho, hey? At least we now both know it's possible for us, hey?
I got Gabby to laugh today! So cute. It was a full on giggle. Unfortunately no one else was there to hear it! ](*,)
WOOOOHOOOOO on the laugh I'm sure there will be many more for everyone to hear - she justed wanted her first one to be special with her mummy I'm sure!
Yes... I was wondering about Kayla too, Tanya. Hope she is doing ok.
Sarah - yeeaah... it is kinda nice that the laugh was just for me. We Mums are very lucky in that respect. Kinda makes the hard work worth it.
I think I may have to go back to work We just can't seem to keep up with everything and it's bringing both Neil and I down in a big way. It's so stuuuuupid that one wage (and an alright one at that!) can't cater for a family. It's not like we live a fancy life or anything. Urrgh! Money!
There must be something in the air on BB at the moment with all us Mums thinking about more babies?
Sarah - yay at the possibility of having 3 babies, also you wanted to know what my OB had to say about how long you have to wait after a c/s to TTC again, I asked yesterday and you can TTC again as soon as you feel like it, I mentioned that we thought we had to wait 12 months, his reply was that`s rubbish!!!! My OB is in his mid 50`s so has been around for a while, anyway I thought I`d tell you since you asked me to let you know.
Hope everyone is well, I`d post more but I have a grizzly boy on my hands today.
lol - good work Deb on your recruiting! Yay on Gabby's giggle! Tje first time they do that is sooo special.
Trish - I hope Tehya's feeling better today. Hows the boy's going? All well?
Sarah - fingers crossed you guys have an easier time this time. Hope Zander is well.
Still fine here. In fact I've had an extra special day today as I've had a 'me' day. DH ordered me out the house this morning, so off I went to look for scrapbooking supplies (not baby shopping allowed lol). Then I had a coffee and read a magazine. Now I am here. and Matty and hubby are at nan's place. I miss my little man soooo much, but it is nice to have a me day.
Thanks for that Dee, I was planning on asking my GP ar Zander's 4 month needles in a few weeks.
OMG Deb, how bizarre, Aaron & I were just talking about work as well! We can manage pretty well if I work 2 days a week which I will be doing from the beginning of August. It does suck that 1 wage isn't good enough, especially when they say that that 1 wage is too much for you to get any govt benefits IYKWIM.
I noticed that Kayla has been away for a while as well. I hope everything is ok & it's not her back playing up again.
Forget to mention last week (or did i?) we have TERMITES!!! They're not too bad, but they're there #-o We can't really afford the $1100 to get them fixed so PIL are going to pay for us. It's good, they're not real affectionate, but if we need help they're always there.
I have to let everyone know that Ella rolled over twice today \/ for the first time. She frightened herself the first time, but the second time she was fine. No one else was at home to see it.
Can anyone help with causes of eczema????? Ella's whole body including face is a mess
