This poll is to see at what age your baby starts crawling. Please note that all babies develop at different rates and there is no "right" when baby will be crawling. If you are concerned at the rate of your baby's development, please consult your doctor.

Taneisha started crawling at 5 1/2 months and walking at 8 1/2 months. She took her first steps the day I found out I was pregnant with Tariq. Tariq started belly surfing about 2 weeks ago (at 4 months). He lays on his belly and pushes himself around in a circle with his right foot.
Jessica crawled at 9months to the day. Then started walking at 11.5 months.
Hannah is only 4 months old, and she just hangs out on her tummy atm![]()
Matilda is 4 1/2 months and she is pulling her knees up and pushing off the ground, but not really using the arms yet... wonder how long I have :-k
Liam was leap frogging at around seven months, rocking on his hands and knees and then just take off leaping forward. I was so scared he was going to injure himself. He started using his knees last week. He is exploring every open space and getting into mischief. You think you have babyproofed your house then....
Prior to this from six months on, he was rolling all around the floor, exploring a pretty big space in my living rooms.
Ok...freaky baby here....Matilda started crawling on Sat... so 5 months 3 weeks!!
omg Christy!! You go Matilda!!
Cairenn started crawling at almost 8 months and Liam at 10 months. I think Liam suffered from "why crawl when my big sister will get it for me" syndrome! Then again, he was crawling backwards from about 7 months.
*bump*

Crawl? Are babies supposed to crawl?! LOL!
Olivia never crawled at all, bless her, but she did start bum shuffling at 11 months........(she is a bit more into her verbal skills than gross motor!!)
I think Aidyn started crawling at around 8 months... gosh it seems so long ago now, I can barely remember!
ETA: hang on.. maybe it was 10 months? I know he skipped commando crawling altogether....
Lily started commando crawling at around 8 months old. Trying to crawl properly, but as me have tiles all through the house she can't do it because she slips.
Zander is sooo close to crawling, he gets around quite well with leaping & shuffling so it's sort of crawling!!
So I'd say 6 months, cos that's when he really started moving.
Jaykob is 9.5 months & has just started commando, I crawled @ 11 months & DP crawled @ 10, it seems that many babies now are doing things quite early! clever lil things! lol
Im glad jaykobs held off, no chasing so far!
Kelly & Nadia mentioned something about babies that walk first before they crawl, if you guys read this, where can I read more on that?
I spoke too soon lol. Lily crawled properly today at 9mths 3 wks!!
Matthew is commando crawling atm and has done for the past week and a bit. No proper crawling just yet!
My little Alex blob is almost seven months and doesn't even roll from his back to his tummy. He likes being on his tum and spends lots of time there, but doesn't do too much. Is there anything else I can do to strengthen his arms and neck ?
Barb....I had this issue with Olivia......she would happily sit, but never move, and if she was on her tummy, was very happy, but couldn't /wouldn't roll over.....
I know the jury is out on Jolly Jumpers, but I think it did help her feel a little stronger.
But more effective than that was LOADS of playing on a soft sureface....we ended up taking the double mattress off our spare bed and laying it on the floor and playing a LOT of rough and tumble games with her and this is what helped her start rolling, and simply feeling more confident in the gross motor area........
(That said, she still didn't crawl....only ever bum shuffled......and didn't walk till 19 months....)
