Hi there, I think I know what you mean - one of those microscopes to show 'ferning' at fertile times of the month.

There an earlier thread on this topic, wish I was techy enough but can't post the link to it.

For me, it didn't work as I have PCOS. Reading the other thread you'll see there isn't that much positive stuff about them.

I used it the second time round - I had been trying for a couple of months and when I started using maybe baby I got preg straight away. The record I kept from it allowed me to pinpoint exactly when I would have conceived. My friend used it too and got preg straight away when she started using it after she had been trying for a few months.

Yeap I used it along with OPKs and fertility friend (obsessed? yes!). I found it useful, but particularly when I used it with everything else to get a clear picture of what is happening. Personally though I reckon they are pretty exy and would recommend just trying say OPKs and temping first.

I have one too and honestly I didn't like them much. I prefered using OPKs to be honest. I found they gave me a more acurate result.

I used one for atleast 6+ months & found it useless even when I saw ferning...
As soon as I temped & OPK'd I fell preg after over 14 months of trying!!!

Hi Mel,

I used to use it but it wasnt very accurate. I told my specialist I used it and he told me not to use it anymore as I was on Clomid and only wanted me to use OPK as the Maybe Baby doesnt only test LH surge but picks up other surges too. He said that OPK is the only accurate one to do while taking Clomid for me.

having a crappy day, had a bit of spotting around lunch time and also have a dull ache across my tummy, hoping to have a BT and check my hcg levels.

Hi, my husband and i used the maybe baby to conceive our little girl (georgette now 5) and my cousin used it to conceive her son 2 weeks old.

We both found them great you could see if you were coming up to ovulation time and get ready.

But not everyone i have spoken to about them has found them so helpful.
