It's getting closer!!!

OK, I don't really have any questions, I just need to let out all the pent up energy I have about this birth! I started this pregnancy so excited about having a VBAC....then by 2nd tri I was losing enthusiasm. I still wanted it, but all the fears crept in. Anyway, now that it's really getting close, I am amazed to find that all the excitement is back!

I did a tour of the labour ward with my support person and a midwife yesterday. At first it was a bit confronting, but now that I feel like I know the place a bit better, I feel really good. I feel a bit more in control because I can visualise where & how things *may* happen.

Anyway, I just want to say that I am now excited again - & hope to keep this feeling until the birth. I really feel that I can do this & will do this!

Wow Linda, this pg has gone really fast - makes me realise that mines not far away now LOL. I am so happy for you that you are feeling really pumped about it all - and you know that you have a pretty amazing cheer squad here to give you a boost if you need it.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay Linda!! I think everyone loses some enthusiasm for labour at some stage before the event. But it is soooo rewarding!!

I look forward to hearing allll about it

Hopefully you will have had your bub before me so I will get to hear about it

Awww Linda... that's great!! I went through similar feelings too. I had to just remind myself that I could do it and that it would be a wonderful experience... and it was. I have nothing but the fondest memories of the birth of Oskar and the best feelings of empowerment...lol. You will be great, just keep reminding yourself with positive affirmations and remember your body and baby know what they're doing

Oh Linda I have just read your post and I am glad I did because I have lost all motivation and I really want to get it back and knowing what stage you are at and that you have got it back has given me a bit more motivation so thank you.
