    Talking Awesome news

I had to see my GP today on something unrelated & we got to talking about IVF. I said I had to ask him a question about my next pregnancy - would he do shared care with me again? The answer was that of course he would love to. I said ok great, but I had a c/s last time & I want to try to go naturally again this time, will it be an issue for him. He asked me to remind him of why I had the c/s and I did. His comment was:

There is no reason why you should do something silly and have another caesarean, there's no need.

So WOOOOT!! I have my Dr on my side already, I'm stoked

Oh good for you Sarah! It's so refreshing to find supportive dr's isn't it. We go in armed to fight our battles, and they just go - yep! that's fine.. and almost make you feel silly for asking! hehe. Let's hope there's many more dr's out there like them!

He's a GP, so I still may have a fight when I decide on a hospital, but it's a great start. I'm psyched about it all again. Time to start on some more reading I think to get me ready

WOOT its fantastic to have someone on your side like that, my GP was the one who gave me the books I shared with you Then she left the practice mid pregnancy ... but at least she gave me a heads up early on.

That is great news Sarah, it makes so much difference to know that you have someone in their position telling you there is no reason not to do it.

Yep once I have my lovely pregnancy confirmation in hand I'll grill him for which hospital I should use. I know he hates the hospital I went to with Zander for various reasons, was on ACA once about it!! So I'm sure he'll have some recommendations for me
